Yes, you can add text to an iPhone photo. You can do it on your phone, or you can upload the photo to the free soona Media Editor and add text there.

How do you add shadows to photos?
You can add shadows to photos for free using the soona Media Editor. Simply upload your image and the AI tool will automatically detect where and how to place the shadow. No need for complicated software here!
What is the app that adds shadows to photos?
The soona Media Editor can add shadows to photos. It can also help you remove backgrounds, change background colors, add a white background, add text, and make other edits to your product photos.
What are the grooming standards for foot models?
soona foot models perform their own at-home self-care prior to the shoot. All are expected to arrive with well groomed, moisturized, and clean skin + nails.
For an extra polished look or to showcase your nail products, add the custom pedicure upgrade.
What about leg hair?
Generally, what you see is what you get! If the model has shaved legs in their modeling profile, they will arrive with shaved legs for the shoot. Alternatively, if they have leg hair, you can expect hair on the booking.
You may, however, indicate a shaved leg preference during model selection. Please note that a model could decide to not service bookings with shaved leg preferences different than what is shown in their profile.
What if I want the model to wear something other than the standard wardrobe?
Models will arrive with the standard wardrobe options. Any additional wardrobe options (bottoms, socks, shoes, sandals, jewelry, etc.) should be sent to the studio with your product.
How does model selection work?
Visit book.soona.co to sign in, browse models, and book directly - or complete model selection after your booking is made. Either way, you'll see active models available in your booking's city.
Use filters to narrow by shoe size, skin tone, gender, age, and more. From there, review portfolio photos and model details to choose your top 2-3 preferences. You can also note any extras like shaving, nail, or wardrobe needs - and if you're sending wardrobe, your model's sizes will be available to you.
Once your selection is made, soona handles the rest. We'll communicate and coordinate directly with the model so you can focus on shipping your product, building your shot list, and prepping for your shoot.
How can I get on the schedule sooner?
When we receive your product, we get you on the schedule for our earliest available date and time. If you would like to be scheduled sooner, you can join our waitlist. Sometimes we have last minute cancelations and can get you on sooner. You must have open availability to sign up for the waitlist.
I have assets that were not created by soona, could your crew edit those?
Yes! Start by filling out this form to let us know your editing needs. A crew member will email you to confirm editing scope + cost. After that, receive your edits in 24-48 hours!
Where can I find my edited content?
When you log into your account, you'll see all your recent assets at the top of the page. There is also an edits album, a favorites album, an expert picks album, and a my uploads album.
What is included in the $149 studio fee?
The $149 studio fee unlocks access to the virtual shoot platform, network of studios, props, backdrops & lifestyle sets. This fee is paid at the downpayment of each booking created.
For $7 more, the Basic plan includes free studio fees for a year and use of the AI Studio tool. This is our recommendation to get the most value out of soona!
What’s the minimum commitment for a membership?
You can proceed with monthly membership or pay annually to unlock savings with payment upfront. We have found the creative platform adds the most value to our clients on an ongoing basis. We offer flexible monthly payments within our enterprise plans.
What does free premium photo editing include?
For our Standard membership & Enterprise packages premium photo edits are free. You may select each premium add-on on your photos during checkout. This includes add-ons such as: change background color/pure white, product touch-ups, transparent backgrounds, buy the RAW or photoshop-it. Any additional variants or revisions after your initial order are $9+ each.
With the Studio Pass & Basic membership: each $39 photo includes one complimentary touch-up after purchase. If your photos or videos need more custom editing: premium add-ons are $9+ each.
How many creators are in the network?
We have thousands of creators in the network and are constantly growing. Because we hand-pick and highly vet out creators, we only accept about 35% of applications we receive. We do this in order to guarantee quality from the creators that are in the network.
is hair + makeup or manicures included with the full body model?
soona models arrive with clean nails, natural hair, and little to no makeup. All prep work is done by the models at home before they arrive.
We have professional hair and makeup or custom manicure upgrades you may add.
what’s included?
whether you want to focus on one product or three we take the crispiest and cleanest images of your product from all angles. stitch them together. create a 10-second video to show off your product. how does it work? if you send us 3 products we’ll create 1 spin video for each product. if you have 1 product we’ll work those angles and get you 3 different spin videos.
what does fresh ingredient styling include?
Our fresh ingredient stylists can cut and assemble fresh or pre-cooked food + ingredients that you ship to our studio or are purchased through our grocery shopping service. Our kitchens are prop kitchens - therefore stylists are unable to cook or bake in-studio. If you want cooked or baked meals please use a food delivery service to deliver the meals to our studio the day of your shoot.
can I talk with my stylist before a shoot?
You can communicate live with stylists during shoot kick-off calls at the start of a shoot and using the chat feature during the shoot. Please provide clear shot lists and shoot goals before your shoot so our stylists can review and execute on your expectations.

are stylists creative directors?
Stylists help elevate and evolve an existing brand and shoot concept - they will efficiently recreate the shot list and shoot goals you provide. Our stylists follow your creative direction to setup scenes and capture your vision. Stylists do not define your brand's creative vision or manage your creative project. You must provide a shot list and shoot goals before your shoot for our stylists to review and follow.

how much experience do your models have?
We pride ourselves on bringing everyday people local to our studios into our model directory. This allows us to celebrate diversity, accessibility and inclusivity. We offer a wide range of relatable models who have different levels of experience in production. All soona models undergo a test shoot and all operate under the same soona standards and expectations.
what if I don't need a model for the entire shoot?
we suggest you make a booking dedicated to just model shots. this may mean you create two bookings - one for model photos and another for non-model photos. for example: if you need 16 photos with no model and 12 photos with a hand model - we suggest you book one hand model shoot in the 10-15 photo range. and book another shoot without a model in the 16-25 photo range. if you have special shoot needs or need help with booking reach out to hey@soona.co for suggestions!
do I need to join my shoot if I book a model?
Yes! We highly encourage attendance for all soona shoots, but especially encourage attendance for shoots with models or other pro-services. This is to ensure you can give live feedback to the model(s) and we can capture your content just the way you need it. We will continue shooting if you are not in attendance!
what's the process of booking and scheduling a model?

where can I browse the models that soona offers?
Log into your soona account to preview our Model Directory at book.soona.co/directory. You can book directly with a model in any city straight from the directory. Or after booking, browse available models in the city you're assigned during Model Selection.
how do soona prices compare to a modeling agency?
prices at modeling agencies can be variable and booking fees can differ from model to model. there are also usage + renewal fees to use the content after the shoot and there may be extra fees added due to contract negotiations.
at soona you pay a one-time fee that is the same for every soona model. and that’s it! there are no usage or renewal fees - so you never have to worry about where or when you can use your content!
